November 29, 2023, 5:00 PM - November 29, 2023, 5:45 PM PST
You are invited to attend our virtual worker info session about the upcoming duty to cooperate and duty to maintain employment obligations
Introduced as part of the B.C. government’s Bill 41, starting on January 1, 2024, workers and employers will have a legal duty to cooperate in timely and safe return to work, and certain employers will be required to maintain employment with their injured workers in specific circumstances.
You are invited to attend a worker info session to learn more about what these new duties mean for you.
What you’ll learn
During the session, you'll learn about the legislation and what the new obligations mean for workers and employers in B.C. You’ll also learn about the value of recovery and return-to-work, and about best practices to follow in the event of an injury.
You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation.
