Session Description

• Describe the connection between historical & current government practices towards First Nations, Inuit, & Métis peoples (e.g. colonization, residential schools, treaties & land claims, Truth & Reconciliation), & the intergenerational health outcomes that have resulted. 
• Understand the structures, processes, relationships, roles & responsibilities of providing culturally-safe health care.
• Describe tools that will enable organizations to address Indigenous-specific racism and build a culturally-safe health care environment.
