Keynote: The Hero Mindset: Fast Tracking Success for Clinicians, Patients, and Providers
My Session Status
This journey can be challenging for everyone, and often everyone is looking for a hero to step up. To stay mentally motivated, work together, and stay on track requires that exact type of mindset – The Hero Mindset.
In this session, Kevin Rempel shares his story of becoming paralyzed in a motocross accident, navigating supporting a parent with a disability, surviving a significant mental health journey to reaching the Paralympic podium in sledge hockey.
After living as a caregiver to a family member with a disability, living with a major disability himself, and helping coach others with disabilities to succeed in their rehabilitation journey and return to work, Kevin loves helping people shift their mindset to fast track success.
Small things make a big difference. Understanding how you speak to yourself, others, and the small shifts that help someone view their situation differently can change the course of clinicians, patients, and providers to improve their experience, reinvigorate their passion, and fast track success for injured workers returning to work.
