
Nicky Swisher is an accomplished Disability Management professional with over 17 years of experience in the complex, multi-union healthcare industry. As the Leader of Short-Term Disability Management Services at Fraser Health, Canada’s largest health authority, she manages a team specialized in working with employees who have both occupational and non-occupational medical conditions off work between 0 – 150 days. Through a consistent focus on industry best practices, employee-centred disability management services and safe return to work, Nicky and her team consistently focus on early attachment to rehabilitation/recovery services to achieve positive return to work results in the pre-long term disability qualification period. Nicky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science/Sports Medicine from Campbellsville University in Kentucky and is a Certified DM Professional with the International Association of Professionals in Disability Management.
